This experience shows you that the little things really do count, starting at the smallest drawbridge in the world. As you stroll a verdant stretch of the Railway Trail, our knowledgeable guide will transport you back in time, unveiling the pivotal role this area played in Bermuda's development. You will pass through a tapestry of natural canopies with glimpses into residential areas and bursts of panoramic views over the Great Sound. Reflect on what it would have been like to hear the ethereal melodies of Gregorian chanting resonating out from Bermuda's smallest church, which is surrounded by serene gardens and farmland, and perched atop a hill with magnificent views. The leisurely walk will cover approximately 2.8 km / 1.8 miles. A cluster of idyllic, tiny islands frames picturesque Ely's Harbour, the starting point for a 2 hour cruise to welcome the arrival of golden hour. This is a time for you to uncoil and let nature works its magic on you. If you'd like to spend some time in the water, we'll drop anchor. The boat is equipped with snorkeling equipment, a freshwater shower to rinse off the salt and space to change. We traverse the pristine coastline, passing by the ruins of an abandoned resort that inspire contemplation on the complexity of mutually beneficial tourism development. Refresh with an included locally made, seasonal juice. Bring your own water bottle, we provide unlimited refills. Like you, we also want to avoid single use plastic and disposable packaging. Comfortable footwear is recommended for walking on both sealed and unsealed surfaces, whether it's sturdy closed-toed shoes or well-fitted sandals.
